Terms of use
Last updated: October 26, 2026
1. Purpose
Yamster is a score sheet app for the Yams/Yatzy dice game, published by Matthieu Laroche (sole proprietor). By using it, you accept these terms.
2. Use
The app is for personal, non-commercial use and is provided as is. The publisher grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it on your devices. You agree not to decompile, copy, resell it or use it for unlawful purposes. On iOS, Apple's standard licence agreement applies in addition.
3. Free version and Premium
The app is free. An optional Premium (one-time purchase, no subscription) unlocks additional features (up to 6 players, full history, statistics, themes, game mode switching). Included features may change over time.
4. Payment and refunds
The purchase is processed by Apple or Google, depending on your platform. Refunds follow their rules: request them directly via the App Store or Google Play. Premium is tied to your Apple/Google account and can be restored with "Restore purchases". Family Sharing is available where the platform allows it. The right of withdrawal and its possible limits for digital content are handled by the platform at the time of purchase.
5. Your data
Games and settings are stored on your device and may be lost if you uninstall the app or change phones. See the privacy policy.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its name, design and code belong to the publisher. "Yams" and "Yatzy" refer to a traditional dice game; Yamster is not affiliated with any game brand or publisher.
7. Liability
The publisher does not guarantee the app is error-free and is not liable for data loss or incorrect game results, to the extent permitted by law. Your statutory consumer guarantees (including conformity) are not affected.
8. Availability and updates
The publisher may update, change or discontinue the app or some features, with no guarantee of permanent availability. Updates are delivered through the store.
9. Changes
These terms may change; the date above applies. If something important changes, you will be informed in the app.
10. Governing law and disputes
French law, without depriving a consumer of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. In case of a dispute, please write to yamster@thepapageek.com first to find an amicable solution; you may then turn to a consumer mediator.
