Yamster collects no personal data. Everything you enter stays on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking.

Data stored on your device

To work, the app stores only on your phone: player names and avatars, games and history, statistics, your settings (theme, language, game modes) and your Premium status. This data is never sent to the publisher or any third-party server. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

Device permissions

Yamster requests no permissions: no access to your photos, camera, microphone, contacts or location.

What we don't do

Premium purchase

The Premium purchase is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment information (Apple, Google). Their policies apply to the purchase. Apple and Google may collect information on their side (purchases, diagnostics, store statistics) under their own privacy policies. We only receive confirmation that the purchase is valid, with no personal data. The stores' developer consoles may also give us anonymous, aggregated statistics (installs, crashes); they cannot identify you.

Sharing and rating the app

"Share the app" and "Rate the app" use system features (share sheet, store review prompt). Only the app's link is shared: no game data is sent. Any review is handled by Apple or Google.

Contacting us from the app

"Contact us" in the menu opens your mail app with a pre-filled message including the app version and your device model, to help us fix bugs. Nothing is sent unless you press "Send" yourself. We use your address only to reply.

Phone backups

Your phone's backups (iCloud, Google) may contain the app's data. They are managed by Apple or Google, not by us. To erase everything, uninstall the app and delete the backup too if you wish.

Security

Your data stays in the app's private space on your phone, protected by the system. Since nothing is sent over the Internet, there is no server or database to breach. Keep your phone updated and locked.

Retention and deletion

We keep nothing on our side. Your data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to reply, then deleted.

Transfers outside the EU

Yamster sends no data off your phone, so there are no international transfers. If you write to us, your email provider may process the message under its own policy.

External links

The app sometimes opens links (store page, thepapageek.com, legal pages). Those sites have their own policies, for which we are not responsible.

Children

Yamster is not specifically aimed at children, in particular under 13, and collects no data, including from children. A child needs a parent's approval for the Premium purchase, which is handled by the store.

Your rights

Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing to access or delete on our side. You still keep all your GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection) and we answer any request within one month. For any question (GDPR), write to yamster@thepapageek.com. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL: cnil.fr). If we process your email to reply, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your request.

Changes

If something important changes (for example adding an account or an analytics tool), this page will be updated, the date above changed, and a notice given in the app.
